科尔比学院院系与专业（一）普遍要求科尔比学院本科生须完成专业学科以外的多项毕业要求 (General requirement)，包括大学英语写作 (First-year, second-year and third-year writing)、一门外语（国际生可免）、两门自然科学（Natural Sciences, 其中一门须包含实验课），以及数理 (Quantitative Reasoning) 艺术 (Arts)、历史 (History)、文学 (Literature)、社会科学 (Social Sciences)各一门

本科生四年内需完成至少128个学时的课程，其中至少113个小时须为常规的学术课程，剩下15小时可从其它非课程领域获得，例如独立研究 (Independent Study)

大约三分之二的学生利用校外活动学习

学生可以到爱尔兰、法国、英国等国家学习，也可选择国内校外活动学习
